Founder
Rhonda Graham

Connell Graham was originally from Denver, NC. He and his wife, Rhonda moved to Alamance County in 1975 to pursue his career as an engineer at General Electric located in Mebane, NC.

Connell was known throughout Alamance and surrounding counties as a mentor, coach, and father figure to many children. He was the founder of The Air Cavs Sports Club which is a non-profit organization for boys & girls from ages 6 to 13. This organization tries to instill great values in each child such as: good sportsmanship, maintaining good grades, good conduct, and respect for others, just to name a few. He and other volunteers encourage each child to dream big and set goals to work towards. Both of Connell’s children and countless others grew up playing with the Air Cavs. Connell also volunteered at Cummings High school coaching boys and girls track and field.

Connell was very active in the community, schools, and church. He attended Gethsemane Christian Church where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board and sung in the Male Chorus and Inspirational Choir. Connell leaves behind Rhonda, his wife. Their two children; daughter Dana (son-in-law DJ). Son, Justin, two granddaughters (Jordyn and Delia) and two grandsons (Kyrian and Jaxon).

Connell was a man of his word and most important, a man of God. Sadly, our beloved founder passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. He will always be remembered and deeply missed.

The organization will carry on his legacy, leadership, vision, and wisdom through his wife Rhonda.
